Chris Nicholson is a 29 year old Crown Servant and in any given free moment makes a wide range of various music from downbeat groove, house, trance, Techno and drum & bass… As a child Chris started playing the drums, following in the footsteps of his older (but not so wiser!) brother under the amazing tuition of Dr Groove himself Michael Acciaioli. Chris’s first influences were the old school rave scene tunes, artists such as Bizzare Inc, Altern 8, the Prodigy, 2 Bad Mice, Criminal Minds, Dave Angel, 4hero and SL2. Other influences include The Future Sound of London and the Art Of Noise. As Chris got older (and slightly wiser) his influences grew with artists such as Roni Size, Jeff Mills, LTJ Bukem, Carl Cox, Union Jack and many many more.
Chris started playing around DJing, mixing primarily Drum & Bass and Techno but this wasn’t enough, he wanted to make his own music. Chris’s music is varied, but he tends to focus on more Techno, trance and drum & bass, but experiments with other genres with some success.
